Those pieces were designed for "La Maîtrise Design Studio" of the Galerie Lafayette.

He was an icon of luxurious french modernism, an art deco sculptor, architect and interior designer.

He atttended the Municipal School of Design in Auxerre and the École de Beaux-Arts Paris.

Adnet exhibited at the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris. Distinctly avant garde, Adnet was among the first to expect metal and glass to integrate with the structure and decoration of furniture.
